I want to be is a mural project that provides job training through the arts for young people. The purpose of the mural is to provide a visual guide for career education and will be used as a teaching tool by the Grand Rapids Housing Commission staff.
15 Role models from the community came to the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts where the mural was being created. They each told the story of how they achieved success in their careers. They were interviewed, drawn and photographed by teams of apprentices.
Painted by KIDS FOR KIDS under my lead.
